Last weekend I went to the city that never sleeps for Fashion Week, and let me tell you, it was everything I ever imaged plus more! I will share with you more details from my time in the city, but today I’m sharing with you one (of my many) looks from the trip.
Saturday afternoon I attended the rewardStyle party which was on the roof of the Empire Hotel (across the street from Lincoln Center). I think we were all a little worried it was going to rain. However, the fashion gods were with us, and it turned out to be a perfect day for a rooftop party!
Now, I know my blog is focused on “smart, fun, fashion”. But for Fashion Week, the “smart” goes out the window just a bit. You can understand, can’t you?! I actually wasn’t even looking for this dress, but when I saw it, I knew it would be a perfect addition to my suitcase for NYFW, plus a great closet staple as an updated LBD. The peplum is everything and the halter style neck is different from any dress I have. I styled it with some fun black shoes and my YSL clutch to keep with the monochromatic look.
