How to Wear Denim Shorts into Fall

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend! As the summer months are coming to an end, its time to start thinking about how to transition summer style into fall. Now that I'm living in southern California, I've found that jackets are essential for those cool evenings. I typically live in denim shorts all summer, so pairing them with a stylish jacket is the perfect way to make those summer basics fall approved.

I picked up this luxe tan leather jacket during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, and can honestly say it was one of the best investments. I am one that wears jackets more than anything during fall and winter, so I knew I would get my wear out of this one. I love the fit and the quality is amazing! I know there might be an initial sticker shock with this jacket, but I personally get so much wear out of all my leather jackets, that they have become worth every single penny! I made the ensemble more dressed up by pairing the pieces with heels and a lace cami. This is the perfect look for a summer date night/event. So effortless and stylish!
