One of my favorite designers, and has been for a while now, is Anine Bing. I've talked about her on the blog (and Instagram) numerous time. Her mantra is 'Timeless Style With Rock N Roll Edge'. I've always been one to love classic pieces but ones that always have a edgy details or elements to them. When I found this black leather mini skirt by Anine Bing, I knew it would be a great addition to my wardrobe. You may not immediately think of a black leather mini skirt as a classic piece, but I do. Since I don't work in a traditional office setting, I can have a little more fun with my outfits. I don't need the classic black pencil skirt, but instead something like this leather mini skirt is more fun to dress up/down.
To keep the look a little more 'off-duty', I added my favorite denim jacket and a leopard print t-shirt. The combination paired with the black leather mini skirt and a red handbag, gives this ensemble a little more of a street-style fashion look. If you wanted to dress it down even more you could swap out the sandals for a pair of Golden Goose sneakers. Or if you wanted to dress it up, try a lace camisole instead. I love taking my classic pieces that I already own and mixing them with edgier styles for some fun outfits. Anine Bing definitely has the styles I'm looking for when creating those outfits.

You have such wonderful style – I love this look and the pop of color you added with that gorgeous red Chanel bag!
I love this style. The animal motif gives the stylization a predatory character. 🙂
Hello, what size are you wearing in the Anine Bing Leather skirt? Have a nice day, Happy New Year. Manuela
