The little black blazer. As someone who doesn’t live in dresses, this LBB is a much more important piece of clothing to my wardrobe than a LBD. We’re officially in February, which means the transition from late winter to early spring is on the horizon, so now is the best time to take inventory of your best transition pieces. HINT: A black blazer should be top priority.

I love blazers because they’re a slightly elevated option when a denim jacket or other type of jacket just isn’t doing the trick, and this particular one from J.Crew is my idea of perfection. It’s a classic, straightforward blazer, but the stretch in it allows comfort and control. The stand up collar gives it a bit of edge while the fit itself is still feminine. It’s the perfect black blazer to pair with any number of outfits, but my tried-and-true is with my favorite white t-shirt of all time and a pair of destructed, high-rise jeans

Suddenly, an otherwise simple jeans and tee outfit looks sharp as ever. Top it off with a pair of classic yet sexy black pumps and a great handbag, and you have an outfit that can take you all the way through work to happy hour to dinner! Your priority this week: adding the perfect black blazer like this one to your closet, so you’re ready for spring before she even arrives.

I noticed many of your jeans have a raw hem but the links do not. Do you cut them yourself? If so would love a tutorial or quick how to!

    Thank you!
