During NYFW, I posted an outfit wearing this gorgeous black lace top. While I dressed it up for that look, this top is too beautiful to keep on reserve for fancy outfits only. Therefore, I decided to play around with a more casual way to wear it.
Now, as most of my readers know, I’m not typically one for showing skin. I stick with sophisticated pieces with optimal coverage. However, this black lace top is so chic that I don’t consider it flashy. The detailing — especially the neckline — makes an otherwise risqué top as classy as you can get. For today’s look, I decided to pair it with my tried and true destructed Levi’s. This ultra feminine black lace top paired with easy denim creates my favorite combo: edgy femme. Also, I highly suggest always wearing the accompanying black bralette with this top. The black on black makes for an even more seductively sophisticated look. To make this outfit even more casual, I rebelled against my typical heels and opted for these on-trend booties.
So here’s proof that even the most delicate, feminine of tops can be worn casually. Whatever your personal style is, there’s always a way to make certain pieces work for you!
