The other day someone asked me how I would define my style. I have always stuck with just wearing what I like, not necessarily a specific style. However, when I took a good look at my closet, it became clear how I would define my style. Classic, sophisticated, minimal, and lover of all things neutral.

While many of my pieces are essential items that would be found in most closets, its noticeable that I’ve learned to create this style that becomes quite versatile. By sticking with classics & neutrals, its easier to mix and match items for more outfit options. When specific trends speak to me, I’m able to  seamlessly pair the item within my current ensembles. I can create an “on-trend” outfit that isn’t a departure from my personal style. My advice if you are trying to define your personal style, or update your wardrobe, is the really take a good look at what you currently own. From there determine the color palette & silhouettes (or styles) you feel best in and go from there. When I create an outfit, I can typically make 5 similar ones just by changing 1 or 2 pieces. It definitely makes getting dressed everyday less challenging and more fun! And fashion should definitely be fun.
