What I Bought on Amazon in August

I love sharing my monthly hauls and recaps with you guys. Doing so honestly helps me keep track of what I’ve bought and browsed, because let’s be honest—I’m basically constantly doing those two things. Today, I’m rounding up all the fashion and home goodies I ordered through Amazon last month, and I can honestly say each one was a great buy!

Home Decor

Doormats: These coir/rubber frame doormats are such great quality. We got one for both the front door (large) and back door (small), but I’m thinking I’m going to get a few more to cover every inside/outside door in our house!

Outdoor Sconces: You might’ve caught me calling these scones on Instagram this week instead of sconces, LOL. Will and I love how clean and modern these sconces look as exterior lights on the house. Even better, they look identical to $500 ones we had our eyes on, so this is a big win.

Wood Beads: This wood bead garland was actually a purchase from my fall home decor collage. I thought it would be a fun way to dress up our coffee table. The natural wood beads and tassel look so good draped just-so on your coffee table, books, decorative bowls —wherever!

Electric Lighter: I feel like I'm always searching the house for matchbooks (my matchsticks are for decor only) when I want to light candles. I got this rechargeable, electronic candle lighter from Amazon last month and LOVE IT. It comes in 5 different colors, but I got the gold (obviously). I’m about to put it to work with all the fall candles I’m about to light around the house!

Wireless Mouse: My Apple mouse was driving me nuts last month, so I did some browsing on Amazon to find a better, more reliable wireless mouse. I ended up with this black-on-black option and love it. For barely $12, it works incredibly well!

Pant Hangers: Is there such a thing as too many hangers? Not in my world, so I stocked up on even more of these wooden pants hangers I love so much. They look so chic and tasteful in your closet!

Cord Organization: I posted a cord organizing hack in August that I am loving. All it takes is a photo case storage box and some handy velcro ties, and all your tangled up cord problems will be solved!

Kitchen

Glass Food Storage Containers: Getting rid of all of our plastic tupperware is something we’ve been meaning to do forever, and it finally happened back in August. This 24-piece glass food storage set is amazing! They’re both oven and freezer-safe, too so you can create, cook, and store in them!

Matcha: I make Matcha lattes at home almost daily, so I had to restock on my favorite Matcha tea by Aiya Organic. It's the best one I've tried by far!

Chile Crunch: If you haven’t treated yourself to a jar of Chile Crunch yet, do it today! If you like to top your food off with a bit of heat and texture, this stuff is addicting. You might want to get two jars to start because you’ll fly through it!

Fashion Tops

In August, I was really loving the two sweater tanks I found as well as this perfect, straightforward long sleeve shirt! The tanks can easily transition into fall with a leather or suede moto jacket, and the long sleeve shirt looks great on its own or layered with other fall essentials.

Fashion Dresses

The LBD was my focus in August, and I found it in so many different styles! Out of these three dresses, there is literally a style suited for everyone. The mini black dress with puff sleeves for the socialite, the tiered maxi dress for someone who always chooses comfort first, and the adorable hooded mini dress for the casual cool girl. They’re all so good!

Fashion Sweaters

I have a feeling most of my sweaters are going to come from Amazon this fall season. Their options are just endless and each is better than the last. If you’re in need of chunky knits, seriously look no further. In fact, the first one (which is almost identical to the Free People sweater featured during the NSALE) is so good that I grabbed it in four colors!

Fashion Accessories

CZ Stud Earrings: I wear these 5ct, Cubic Zirconia 14k gold studs almost every day now. My Nordstrom ones are sold out so I found these as an alternative, but between you and me… I actually like my Amazon pair better!

Aviator Sunglasses: You guys are always asking about my discontinued Celine aviator sunglasses, so I found the perfect alternative in this pair of $14 shades!

I love the idea of wooden beads in the home. I think they’d be great to hold my curtains back. Thanks for the inspo!
