How to Add Color to a Neutral Wardrobe

Hard to believe today is already the first of November; it seems like yesterday was January! Today I'm sharing another look from my trip to London and reminiscing about the wonderful time spent there. We really did luck out with such great weather. Most of the days I started in a coat, and after a few hours of walking around I warmed up and a coat really wasn't necessary. However, I know it's definitely cooled off there by now, it's even starting to cool off here in San Diego! I loved the idea of bringing a less traditional coat on this trip, so I opted for a pop of color with this trench. While the style is still classic, the color is what makes it stand out. It's still paired back to all the neutral colors I brought, so I was able to wear it multiple times.

Since we are getting into the colder months, I wanted to share some winter coat & jacket styles that are a little more fun. Whether you're heading on a trip somewhere, or just looking to update your wardrobe, I think having a style that stands out is essential for everyone. Either a soft pastel or a bold hue, just remember to pair it back to neutrals for a chic and polished look.
