How to Style a Camel Blazer | Outfit Ideas For Any Occasion

Camel blazers for fall and camel coats for winter have been two of my personal wardrobe staples for years now, so when I sat down with my team to design MAYSON the label’s Fall ‘23 collection, a camel blazer was at the very top of the list! Today I’m featuring my very own MAYSON the label Camel Twill Boyfriend Blazer, which is a total pinch-me moment. Of course I’m biased, but this is the best camel blazer I’ve owned (and I’ve owned A LOT). Wear it with the three-piece camel suit by MAYSON the label, or pair it with comfy jeans, a simple tee, and sneakers for a more casual, on-the-go look. The possibilities with a piece like this are truly endless! Now, let’s break down what’s so perfect about this blazer.

Editor's Note: This blazer is meant to be oversized. Its menswear inspired, so the shoulders are going to be slightly extended & sleeves a little longer. I would take your true size, or size down. I'm wearing a small.

More Ways to Style a Blazer

In general, I feel that no matter how modern or hip your workplace is, you can do better than jeans for an interview. Try a neutral pair of dress pants with a lighter blazer (in both color and fabric), a full monochrome look, or consider pairing a blazer over a dress or top and skirt combo if you don’t necessarily wear a legitimate pantsuit. Also, when buying your blazer, the fit depends on your preference! If you prefer a fitted blazer, get your true size. But, if you want that cool girl oversized look, I suggest going up 1-2 sizes! You can always wear a blazer with shorts, and oversized blazers typically look better with your best pair of denim shorts for the summer.
