J.Crew Camel Coatigan Outfit

If you buy just one new piece for yourself this fall, it should be this J.Crew coatigan. End of story. You might be asking yourself, what’s a coatigan? Basically, a coatigan is when it’s too warm for a true coat but too chilly for just a cardigan. It’s as long as a coat but not as heavy, and it’s as comfortable and easy to layer as a cardigan, but with a little more to it!

This J.Crew coatigan is the best I’ve seen so far this year. I love the open-front and the pockets, and that it comes in four different colors: camel (called heathered khaki on their site), blush, charcoal, or classic black. Like with most great fall jackets and outerwear, it pairs with so much, so you can keep experimenting with different outfits, or just wear this coatigan over the same shirt or sweater on repeat—it’s so classic, no one will notice!
