Last week, I posted a new red top from J.Crew I love. Truth be told, I liked the style of it so much that I bought the grey version, too! So now, I have both a red and grey striped shirt in my closet. This is different for me since I usually stick to solid prints. However, I know it’s important to mix it up every once in a while. Therefore, I had no problem adding this grey striped shirt to my collection.
Just like its sister shirt, it has that playful yet sophisticated button detailing that makes it so fun. Plus, the specific style of the stripes is so flattering. Stripes can be hard to execute, but J.Crew really hit the nail on the head with this grey striped shirt. What’s even better about it is that you can wear it with regular blue denim or black denim! I mean, what looks better than grey stripes with blue or black? Not much! Also, the cuffs on these shirts are so fun and add a bit of casual playfulness to an otherwise structured blouse.
