The unsung hero when it comes to any workout wear is the sports bra, and lululemon made what I consider to be the closest thing to a perfect sports bra out there. The energy bra is a medium support sports bra with a high neck and a long-line rib underneath the breasts for even more support and coverage, and I LOVE it.
lululemon Bra Sizing
Sizing in general can be tricky because so many brands run differently, but bra sizing is especially tricky. In the energy bra, I take a size 4, which is true to my typical lululemon size. However, if you need help on figuring out which size to order, check out lululemon’s incredibly handy and detailed size guide.
Energy Fit Bra
Although it says the energy bra is only medium support, I feel highly supported in this sports bra. Any sports bra with a high neck does wonders in holding everything in place so you can move much more freely and intensely. Plus, the long-line fit on this bra underneath the breasts offers further support and coverage than your typical sports bra. I also love the multi-strap, racerback aspect of this bra, and the material itself is so soft while remaining moisture-wicking.
What to Wear it With
The best part about the lululemon energy bra is you can wear it with a top or on its own. The long-line gives it the illusion of being a semi-crop top, which is one of my favorite things to wear when working out. But this bra looks good under any sort of workout top. I personally love pairing it with lulumeon’s cut back crop tank (the best workout top!), or even just throwing my scuba hoodie over it. Paired with their Wunder Under high-rise tights, this workout outfit is perfect for running, walking, training, etc.!
When to Wear It
Any day of the week! It’s perfect for any workout, but you can even wear it around the house under loungewear if you’re craving a little extra support throughout the day.
