When you think of luxury clothing, you may picture extravagant, elevated looks that are very loud about their luxe status. While there is a place for that in the fashion world, if you’re like me, you prefer casual luxury looks that are a bit more quiet and incredibly comfortable.
For example, this head-to-toe look would qualify as luxury, but is so minimal and cozy that I could wear it every day. The racerback tank is featured on my summer capsule wardrobe, meaning I wear it constantly during the summer months. The “Eva Tank” by Anine Bing is the perfect, black tank top. It looks wonderful on its own and also serves as a great layering piece. Retails at $79.
Now onto the jeans. I have sung praises about these white Citizens of Humanity jeans, and I’m not even a good singer. The Charlotte High Rise Straight Jeans are just perfection, and my go-to white jeans for spring, summer, and beyond! Retails at $198.
I have been wearing the Hermes Oran sandals for years now. They are the kind of luxury, classic slide that are never out of style. I haven’t found a more comfortable, chic-looking slide that goes with literally everything. They’re easy to walk around in all day, and offer a bit of elevation over just plain slides with your summer looks. In terms of summer shoes, they’re one of my best investments! Retail at $660.
To tie the look together and really lean into luxe, I love my Saint Laurent Rive Gauche canvas tote for summer. At 14 inches high, 19 inches wide, and 5.5 inches deep, it’s a large statement piece that melds the worlds of luxe and casual together perfectly. This stunning fabric and leather-trimmed handbag retails at $1,690.
