When it comes to the quintessential Parisian wardrobe, red, black, plaid, stripes, and leather all come to mind. Therefore, when I was packing for this magical trip, I filled my suitcase with all of the above. I knew bringing pieces that fit those descriptions would help me to create endless ensembles for my quick trip & for me having options is always key! I must admit, the piece I was most excited to wear was my new red coat.
The weather, although temperamental and rainy, hasn’t taken away from the magic of this city. So far, the mornings have been rainy and cool. Then, by afternoon, it’s sunny and dry. All that to say, I’m so glad I packed a variety of layers. This red coat is perfectly Parisian; in fact, it makes me feel like a local (well, not quite but almost!). Paired with this Veronica Beard plaid dress, black skinny jeans, and a lightweight black turtleneck, creating the perfect Parisian ensemble.
