In case you missed the memo, neutrals are without a doubt my favorite when it comes to outfits. The main reason for this love is just how versatile they are when it comes to creating endless outfits. Neutrals literally go with everything, so there is no cap on the amount of new looks you can put together when you use neutrals as a base! Plus, being so neutral-forward keeps me from constantly shopping trends that might only last a season. All that to say, there are different neutral pieces for every season, and right now, I’m focusing on updating the neutrals in my wardrobes for spring!
You might recognize this beige blazer; I styled it last week on the blog with these paperbag waist shorts and heels for a spring-forward look. But because neutrals are so versatile, I'm sharing a completely new look centered around this beige blazer to showcase my point about creating 100 looks with one neutral. Of course, using blazers for a workwear look is a given, but I also love to style a blazer casually, too. When you throw on a great beige blazer with jeans and a t-shirt, or shorts and sneakers it creates the most effortless, cool girl vibe. So for this outfit, I was going for an elevated spring look that’s polished but fun, which is why I opted to style this business casual blazer with my clear sandal heels. Clear heels are maybe my favorite spring/summer trend because they not only go with literally everything, but they’re the perfect marriage of put together yet fashion-forward with a bit of edge. Plus, they elongate your legs! I've had this exact pair for years and wear them as much as possible when it’s the right season.
