Most of us have our favorite pieces we love to wear over and over. Whether it's a specific item, or a certain apparel category, these pieces are what we feel best in. For me, I have a standard formula I stick with most of the time when making outfits. Skinny jeans, heels, a statement third piece and mixing high-low prices. Jackets/outerwear have become one of my favorite categories to shop for, and Nordstrom always has the best selection to choose from.

This particular jacket is by one of my favorite designer brands, Veronica Beard. The gorgeous detailing of the jacket is edgy but still feminine with the back peplum design. It can easily dress up your favorite denim and basic white tee while looking effortlessly cool. I love that Nordstrom has so many of my favorite designer brands that I can easily wear back to budget-friendly pieces.
