Now that its officially spring, temperatures are rising as quickly as they are dropping. Huh? Exactly. One day its 60 and the next its 30. So how does one dress for this fickle weather? The answer is simple. Layer with transitional coats.
I've always been about adding a third piece to an outfit to help complete it. So naturally I'm loving this time of year when I can keep my outfit simple, but add an extra piece for style as well as function. Take for example this gorgeous textured-tweed coat from H&M. I actually wore it during NYFW since the weather was warm enough for a lighter piece like this. My sweater-jeans-heels combo was simple, but pairing the coat as a third piece made for a stylish addition. No matter what region you live in, I'm positive you'll need a transitional coat to keep you looking chic (and warm) this season.
