When it comes to fall, I have a few pieces that I almost always gravitate toward. In other words, they’re my essentials for fall apparel and guaranteed to be worn almost daily. So, take a look below to shop my favorite items I consider necessary for fall!
WOOL COAT: For the past month, I’ve been LIVING in wool coats of all patterns, colors, & silhouettes. If you’re looking to splurge on a new coat this year, I recommend one in black, camel, or grey. Truly, wool coats are so important for fall apparel. These neutral colors have the most versatility and can paired with numerous outfits. I love this one from J.Crew. Not only is the silhouette sophisticated, but it comes in several gorgeous colors!
FINE KNIT TURTLENECK: Turtlenecks are the perfect layering piece. They look great under blouses, dresses, coats, sweaters, or on their own. Typically, I wear traditional sweater turtlenecks. However, as soon as I tried on this fine-knit by Theory, I was hooked! Pair it with jeans and sneakers for day, and dress it up with heels & a statement belt for night. Truly, it’s my new favorite item and essential for fall apparel.
OTK Boots: Boots & boots & boots, oh my! Fall is the season for boots & booties, and over-the-knee is always a favorite style of mine. These boots are so versatile and can be worn with jeans or dresses & skirts. The chunky heel makes them comfortable plus, the silhouette elongates the legs no matter your height. The Perfect Denim: For a long time, my favorite denim was by Zara and Frame. However, I recently discovered the “Jamie” jeans by Topshop and could not be more obsessed. They come in multiple washes/variations, and to answer your question — yes, I have almost every style! As for what size to buy, get what you normally would. They’ll seem snug at first. However, after a few wears, they’ll fit perfectly. Plus, they’re available in petite, regular, and tall. So no matter your build, you can find your perfect fit.
Minimal Handbag: Minimalism is in. Personally, I’ve been carrying less & less in my handbags. Of course, the first step to minimizing is the size of your purse. That said, I love crossbody styles. Not only do they effortlessly transition from day to night, but they’re also the perfect size for carrying only the essentials. And the best news? The mini bag trend is popular so, subsequently, there are tons of cute options to choose from! Definitely grab one of these to add to your fall apparel.
