Bodysuits during the summer are great, but nothing compares to fall and winter bodysuits. Because of all the layering, sometimes cold weather outfits can end up feeling a little clunky, which can be great but can also be a lot. The best solution is a bodysuit, like this long sleeve one from Commando at Nordstrom.
The reason I love fall/winter bodysuits so much is because they offer a form-fitting, flattering silhouette that is beyond easy to style around tons of outfits. You will be hard stretched to run out of black bodysuit outfits! You can easily slip a blazer or jacket over bodysuits, wear them with a great pair of jeans, or slip on a cute fall midi skirt. They’re so many benefits of bodysuits when it comes to fashion—they’re essentially the foundation for every great fall outfit and so versatile, I need another word for versatile.
This particular one from Nordstrom has been my go-to for about a year now. Its opaque, similar fabric to tights, has a slight mockneck, and is SO comfortable. More than that, it’s a thong bodysuit so it’s ideal if you want no panty lines (and who does?!). I went for a black bodysuit with carbo jeans outfit this time around, pairing back to black slingbacks and accessories I love this look for a weekend date night—it’s so chic and subtly sexy. You can’t go wrong stocking up on bodysuits for fall/winter, and this one is a great place to start!

Ballet Bodysuit
I honestly don’t know how I dressed myself for so long without having this bodysuit in my life. I’ve been wearing it for about a year now, but today is where it shines. I have 3 because I wear them SO often during the fall/winter months. It’s literally the perfect layering piece for fall/winter AND looks chic worn solo. It works with jeans, leather pants, joggers, and trousers. It’s like the unicorn of tops. It just goes with everything. The fabric is opaque and feels similar to tights but a little thicker. This is truly the only bodysuit I’ve worn that doesn’t feel like I’m wearing a bodysuit. Trust me you will love it.
