A few weekends ago I had an outdoor black tie wedding to attend. For a few months I had been on the search for a classic full length gown that was both elegant and comfortable (I love dancing so I needed to be able to move around well). I was having a difficult time finding the perfect dress that met my requirements, so I looked to Rent the Runway for help.

If you aren’t familiar with RTR, it a wonderful service where you can rent anything from dresses & accessories to handbags & everyday clothing. I have never used it before, but had heard many great reviews, so I decided to give it a try (read more about the service here). Since I knew almost exactly what I wanted, it was easy for me to filter my search to narrow into a few options. After falling in love with this navy open back dress last year, as soon as I saw it was available on RTR, I knew this was the dress.
