Wearing white in the winter might seem questionable to some, however, in my book its definitely a yes. There are plenty of designers and brands who have embraced the winter white trend, which makes it a little easier to put these types of looks together. For me, I've always been a fan of wearing white anytime of the year, and I've learned a few tricks along the way to keep the ensembles feeling updated and stylish.
To start off, if you decide to go with a full head-to-toe winter white outfit, I applaud you. I love a full winter white outfit more than anything, I just didn't have all the pieces I needed while in NYC to create one. The key is to mix textures as well as tones. This will add dimension, which also helps to elevate the entire look. I started off with this chunky white sweater, which by the way is incredibly cozy, and paired it with this beige wool-blend coat. Pairing the two together created the winter white monochrome look I was going for. For the jeans, booties, and accessories, I decided to go with dark grey & blacks. By coupling the monochrome winter whites with darker items, it really helped to create that luxurious look, effortlessly.
Tell me, will you try winter white this season?
