I’m always a sucker for a dress, but a shirtdress is an all-time favorite of mine. I recently bought the Splendid x Damsel collection shirtdress in white, & I’m so tempted to go back and get the black version as well. It is such a great staple item that can pretty much be worn year-round (depending on the color selection).
I have a few shirt dresses in my wardrobe already; they have constantly become my favorite go-to styles when in need of a quick outfit without having to put a lot of thought into the look.
I love the silhouette of this dress in particular. The drop waist & pockets give the dress an fun and flirty sensibility, while the sleeve length allows for the option of rolled or un-rolled depending on the weather. The dress is 100% cotton, so it is definitely comfortable to wear all day long.
