LOFT Sale Haul & Try-On: Workwear Outfit Ideas for an Entire Month

Before I ran Fashion Jackson full time, I worked in a corporate setting and had various dress codes over the course of my time there. Anything from business professional to very casual. When I was able to wear jeans, I would, but I know that’s not the norm for all companies.

Recently I have been getting tons of requests from you guys regarding what to wear to work, workwear outfits for business casual settings, or no jeans office attire. So today I’m sharing a huge haul of work-friendly office outfits from LOFT! The great thing is, they are having a HUGE sale right now, so you can stock up on essentials that take you from Sunday brunch to Monday meetings. If you can only wear dressy pants, I have the pair for you! If jeans are your go-to, this is the pair you need! There is almost a month worth of outfits to wear to work and with the LOFT sale happening right now, its a great time to take advantage of the savings and impress your peers by looking chic at your next Monday meeting.

LOFT will be having 40-60% off sale items and 50% off full-priced.

I love this page sooo much, but I respectfully disagree that leather leggings or moderately distressed jeans are appropriately for an office environment. My favorite Fashion Jackson corporate outfit is still the Ann Taylor burgundy shift dress with leopard heels!

Totally understand not all work environments have the same dress code. But after speaking with a lot of peers, all of them said they are able to wear these types of styles to the office (large corporations to small startups). A lot of companies are becoming more relaxed with dress codes these days.

I am such a huge fan of your blog! I work from home — often in leggings. When I saw your suggestion to wear faux leather leggings in a workplace, I thought — how bold and controversial! You might LOVE this article in the Atlantic in support of leggings in the office:

Thank you for doing this post!! I’ve been in a rut with my office attire, especially after transitioning from a very formal DC office to a super casual LA office.

Love this! Thank you for posting these ideas. I just placed an order of several of these pieces. Unfortunately, the black blazer was not available in my size. But, I am hopeful they will restock.
I love these type of posts just like your capsule wardrobe piece. Please keep doing these!
