It's hard to believe I've been living back in San Diego now for two months - the time has seriously flown by! In case you didn't know, I'm originally from Del Mar, CA and most of my family is still here. I had always planned on moving back to San Diego after college, but as I'm sure you can all relate, plans change, and before I knew it I had spent the last 10 years in Dallas. While I loved my time there, I was anxious to get back home to San Diego! I'm so happy to be back near family again, and really loving my new summers. Even though this past weekend in San Diego was much warmer than normal, it still beats the hot Texas summers.

Based on my new climate, I find that dressing for summer is a little different than I'm used to. More jeans, light layers, summer sweaters and what's best is these items can be worn year around! I recently picked up this lightweight linen kimono from Nordstrom and have been wearing it constantly. It's the perfect piece carry along for layering, especially to dinner because I'm always a little chilly. I styled it with another new cami from Topshop (I've been loving their summer tanks this season!), and my new favorite pair of denim.
