We are a little over 3 months away from the wedding(!!!), and things are moving along smoothly! One thing that has really helped me not to stress about planning a wedding with a short engagement time, is to not over think things. I have pretty much just been going with my gut and first response to anything presented. I also try to keep in mind the big picture tasks/items. What will people actually remember from the wedding/events leading up? This has helped me to not stress over the little details.
For our Save the Dates, I did want to spend a little more time with them, since they are typically something family members will hold on to. We already had our beautiful engagement pictures from Arielle, which is usually incorporated into Save the Dates. I decided to go with Minted Weddings for design/printing. Not only do they have so many options to choose from, but they are incredibly fast, easy to customize, and provide great quality. One feature I loved, was being able to upload our engagement photo and see all the previews at once. That way I could quickly scroll through and have an idea what the designs could look like.
I selected 'Elegant Lines' because I felt it was simple, clean, and still had a romantic yet elegant aesthetic. I only had to make a few easy design modifications based on our picture selection. From there I uploaded the addresses (I used postable.com), customized the stamps, and a few days layer our Save the Dates had arrived! The envelopes came printed with everyone's addresses and stamps were included in the package, so it took no time at all to stuff the envelopes and drop off at the post office!
I couldn't be more happy with the way they turned out, and I'm so excited to use Minted for our invitations as well!
A special thank you to Minted for providing our Save the Dates.
