As much as I love solid colors, I also love classic prints like leopard and stripes. Finding the right kind of stripe, however, can be trying. While vertical stripes have often been deemed the more “flattering” orientation of stripe, there are ways to make horizontal stripes work for you, which is exactly what this striped, long sleeve rag & bone top does!
Although this is referred to on the Nordstrom site as a spring sweater, I would say it’s more of a heavy knit top. It definitely gives me lightweight spring sweater vibes, but isn’t what you’d think of when you hear the word “sweater.” To create a cute spring outfit, I paired this striped long sleeve top with a pair of high waist ripped jeans (also found in my denim guide) and a pair of nude pumps. This is the kind of look that translates seamlessly from office meetings and Zoom calls to patio happy hours in 75º weather (AKA the dream)! This lightweight spring sweater is also slim fit so it’s extra flattering on the female figure.
More than that, you can pair this rag & bone sweater with denim shorts and slide sandals for the perfect transitional spring look! I love this top and plan to wear it a lot this season and next.
