Happy Monday! Recently a lot of you guys have asked where I get my style/inspiration from and how I found my personal style. There really isn't a simple answer when it comes to how I found my personal style. It took trial and error, and time. But I will say around 2 years ago (when I took the blog full-time), is really when I found my "formula", if you will, for my personal style, and what worked best for me. It's a mix of classic pieces, neutral colors, edgy elements, which pair so well together, that really define my personal style (read this). But what about my inspiration?
I would say most of my inspiration comes from European fashion/street style. I love searching Pinterest for "street style" and just navigating my way through the rabbit hole. The simplicity, yet chicness of European fashion is what I'm most drawn to. I'm also drawn to travel, specifically in Europe. There is so much history and beauty in the architecture, I can't help but feel so inspired when visiting new and old destinations. I'm also inspired by women in my community. The blogging industry is big, but it's also quite inspiring. From fashion designers and authors, to motivational speakers and inventors. If you really look into it, you will find so many talented women have been able to turn this space into successful businesses. Now that's inspiring.
Where do you find your inspiration?
