It's not common that you'll find me in anything besides jeans. However, every now and then I'll find a dress, or in this case a skirt, that I fall for. For me the most important thing is feeling comfortable. Not necessarily meaning the comfort of the clothing, but comfortable in the outfit/styling. I never want to "force" an outfit just because it might be trending. That's usually why you'll find me wearing trends later than most. I always want to make sure it's something I'll love and feel confident in, as well as find more than one way to wear that "trend". And if you know me at all, you know that versatility is my motto.
When I was in NYC a few weeks ago, I picked up this Anine Bing midi silk skirt and immediately became obsessed. The skirt style has been trending for almost a year now; it was super popular in the fall with oversized sweaters. I had been looking for a piece I could add to my wardrobe that would carry me through the spring/summer season by styling multiple ways. I'm only sharing one look today, but know I have a lot more in the works, including office style and weekend style. It looks almost like I'm wearing a dress, but its actually paired with a black t-shirt. I added the denim jacket for a more laid back approach. I'm quickly falling for the midi silk skirt trend & can't wait to show you guys more ways to wear it. Whether your style is classic or trendy, there is a midi slip skirt for you. Let me know what you think about the trend!

I love midi slip skirts as well. There’s something just so feminine and romantic bout them. Love how you’ve styled it so casually here!

Great style! Love the skirt, it’s a easy, fun, fashion, any day, anywhere kinda style. This skirt can easily be dressed-up or dressed down, depending on the event or outing.
