An Easy Outfit to Recreate With Your Camel Coat

Featured Image

I’ve mentioned lately how coats can create the entire outfit, and that is especially true when it comes to how to style a camel coat. It’s amazing how many outfits you can create with a camel coat and jeans, and today’s post is an example of exactly that!

Winter coat outfits don’t have to be complicated. Take, for example, what I have on in today’s featured pictures. I was running a number of errands this day and it was definitely chilly outside, so I wanted to make sure I was warm but not too bogged down by layers. I also knew that I wanted my Anine Bing Dylan Coat to be the focal point of my errand-running look! I decided on a dark neutral look with a black pair of my favorite jeans by AGOLDE and a charcoal gray cashmere sweater by Everlane. Putting these two pieces together allowed the camel coat to sing by playing the role of a brighter but still-neutral piece! To finish the look, I chose black loafers and a go-to black handbag (read more about it here).

It goes without saying (but I’m going to say it anyway) that there’s no limit to what colors go well with a camel coat. Of course, black is always a safe bet, but white, gray, navy, and even a gorgeous olive green compliment a camel tone. There’s also no limit to what you can wear a camel colored coat over, be it a sweater, a t-shirt, or even over your activewear to and from the gym! If you’ve been considering investing in a camel coat, this is your sign.
