Most of us have a love/hate relationship with rompers. Finding the perfect one can seem impossible, but once you do, you basically never want to take it off!

This black piece from Club Monaco caught my eye instantly, and I knew I had to try it on. From the front it exudes a smart kind of chic. The high collar mixed with just a touch of ruffle makes it incredibly classy. Then you see the open back, which really gives it that WOW factor. Styled with one of my favorite pairs of strappy heels, this romper can do all a dress can, and them some.

I’ve written about rompers before and how, when they’re the right king, they can easily serve as a stellar alternative to a dress. Dresses are the best, of course. But sometimes you want to mix it up just a bit, and rompers are perfect for just that.
