Fall is finally here, and I am so excited. We just back from the most epic trip to London that I cannot wait to download you guys on, but for now, I want to talk about last month’s top-sellers to get you and your closet set up and ready for new, cooler weather!
Check out my favorite purchases this year!
Jeans
These baggy “scrunch” jeans by Citizens of Humanity were a big hit last month and for good reason. They are so comfortable and the relaxed fit looks great with a simple t-shirt tucked in. The cinched, high-rise waist really adds something to the look of these jeans! For outfit inspo, check out this all-denim look I wore last month. Also available here.
Plaid Blazer
Blazer season is the best season, and you guys were ready to shop for it last month with this plaid blazer from J.Crew. I love the single button and standing collar — both features make it so chic. The brown and gray plaid make this blazer easy to pair with any number of looks, but here’s how I wore it recently.
Cropped Jacket
Sometimes you don’t need the whole jacket. That’s where this crop jacket by Toteme comes in. It’s made from organic cotton and features long, raglan sleeves and a boxy silhouette, both of which look great with a fitted t-shirt and jeans. I wore it in London and it was the perfect layering piece!
Lady Jacket
Every fall wardrobe needs a lady jacket, and this all black tweed one from J.Crew is perfection. The gold hardware is so bold and fun, and the jacket has the ability to tie an entire look together with very little effort. Wear it unbuttoned or buttoned for an even chicer look!
Jeans
Another day, another amazing pair of Citizens of Humanity jeans! They are really killing it right now, and these wide leg baggy jeans are no exception. I’m very into denim on denim at the moment, so check out this look I created with these jeans for an elevated Canadian tuxedo.
Black Denim Shorts
Just because it’s fall doesn’t mean you can’t wear shorts anymore, especially if you live in a warmer state. Pairing black denim shorts like these with booties is both a classic and unique look, or you can even wear them with a long sleeve top and heels like I did here!
Brown Lady Jacket
Chocolate brown is very in this year, which makes this chocolate brown lady jacket from Saks a slay. Like the black J.Crew lady jacket, you can wear this unbuttoned or as the main event buttoned all the way up like I did in this outfit last month.
Park Tote
The Row is everything, but especially the Park XL tote. I am completely obsessed with this handbag and have been carrying it non-stop – I even brought it to London! If you’re going to invest in a new handbag this fall/winter, make it this one. It will last you for years to come!
Trench Coat
You simply can’t do fall without a trench coat, and call me biased, but I love MAYSON the label’s version. It’s the perfect piece for in-between weather with a lightweight fabric and feminine silhouette that screams “French girl” in the best way. I wore it for our long travel day to London, and it was so comfortable.
Marble Tray
I never thought I’d find such a gorgeous marble tray from Amazon, but here we are! It’s a great price point and looks so incredibly chic as a catch-all in any room of your house. For under $100, you need it.

Thanks for the Jenni Kayne discount code, I’ve had that sweater in my shopping cart for 2 weeks and I finally pulled the trigger!
It’s such a great sweater!
So many great things! The camel coatigan is definitely my favorite 🙂

Just accidentally found your website. Love the way you style and give info on items for those of us that don’t have the gift. Welcome to Texas – I’m a born and raised Dallas girl (well…girl might be pushing it haha) and we really are very friendly. Hope y’all come to love it here.
What size do you recommend in the jenni kayne button up? I am slim/tall like you but have a big chest. I don’t like them too oversized. Thanks!
This one is already an oversized “boyfriend fit” I’m wearing an xs and think it’s perfect!
