I don't follow "rules" when it comes to fashion. I wear what I like when I want to and I personally think the whole "no white after Labor Day" rule is quite antiquated. You definitely won't see me in a white linen dress, but white jeans, absolutely. As you know I love wearing neutrals, and white is a second favorite for me, after black. So obviously I'm going to continue wearing white all year. Let's move forward with fashion and learn how how to wear white after Labor Day, shall we? Today I'm sharing a stylish way to dress up white skinny jeans for fall.
Like I said, white is my favorite neutral after black, and naturally pairing white skinny jeans with black automatically makes the look dressier. I picked up this lux short sleeve sweater from Ann Taylor a couple weeks ago and wear it almost everyday! Seriously. I love how simple and classic it is, and it really dresses up jeans flawlessly. Ann Taylor is always one of my favorite places to buy elevated basics that are timeless and budget friendly. Adding a touch of metal (gold or silver) helps to dress the look up even more. So I paired the look with classic black pumps and black/gold accessories.
So what are your thoughts on white after Labor Day?
