You guys know how I feel about leopard. I’ve talked so much about how leopard is both a pop and a neutral that I’m scared I’m going to start seeing spots on the reg! But truly, it is. Thusly why when I spotted (pun intended) this incredible leopard coat from Ann Taylor, it was a no-brainer to add it to my closet.
Generally, my style is to keep the whole of my look neutral and incorporate pops of pattern or print in small doses. However, every now and again a statement piece like this comes along that I change my own rules for. If you’re wondering how to wear leopard print, there are endless ways but this leopard coat is the perfect mix of fun and chic. For this look, since the leopard coat sings so much on its own, I kept everything else about the outfit very neutral. I styled it with a classic crew neck sweater, some of the most comfortable jeans I own, a nude pair of pumps, and a smart, structured handbag to tie it all together.
I cannot wait to continue throwing this on as a neutral throughout the fall. Animal print fashion never goes out of style, and this coat covers the trend and then some!
What a beautiful outfit! I am definitely going to look for this coat at Anne Taylor. Your looks are so inspiring. I love how classic and chic they are. I’ve just discovered your site through browsing on pinterest and I’m so glad that I did. Beautiful photography as well, I love how you take multiple pics of the outfits.
Hey there! Just recently found your blog and you are my style ‘spirit animal’ – I’ve already purchased multiple things you’ve suggested! I LOVE these jeans (Boyish ‘Easy Ride’) but can’t figure out what size. Do they stretch? You noted TTS but I don’t know what you normally wear. For reference, I’m 5’5″, 118lb thin but athletic build. I go between a 25 (AG / most CoH Jeans) and a 26 for jeans that run smaller (Mother / Agolde). The 25 feels tight around the waist but I would be unhappy if I sized up and they stretched too much. Sorry for all of the details – just want to make sure I end up with the right size! Thank you! You’re fabulous! 🙂
Thank you so much! I wear a 25 in this pair (my true size) from Boyish, they will be a little tight at first, but relax and they are PERFECT. Based on what you said, I would get a 25 as well!
