Something I will always invest in and spend money on are designer handbags. Some might call it an addiction, but I like to think of it as an ongoing investment that will serve me down the line somehow. In my experience, once you go designer with a handbag, it’s hard to go back because of the obvious quality difference.
All that said, I wanted to round up my most beloved and classic handbags of all time. To me, the bags included in this blog post are timeless handbags to invest in that you will never ever regret spending the money on. Keep scrolling to see which ones are my favorites and why!

Bottega Veneta: Teen Jodie

The Bottega Veneta Teen Jodie is its most popular bag and absolute perfection. I originally wanted to get the small Jodie (larger size that fits on your shoulder), but something was holding me back. I realized it wasn’t as comfortable on my shoulder, especially if I was going to be wearing a bulky coat during the fall and winter. The Teen Jodie, however, was love at first wear. It’s surprisingly spacious and can fit my large wallet, sunglasses (with case), keys, phone, and misc. items.Â
Saint Laurent: Medium Manhattan Tote

This structured tote is new to my collection and has quickly become one of my favorites. The shoulder strap is adjustable so you can wear as close to or away from your underarm as you prefer, and the top features a magnetic closure so it’s a little easier to get in and out of as opposed to a zipper. This compact shoulder bag is stunning, highly professional, and has gorgeous goldtone hardware.
The Row: Large Park N/S Tote

As far as classic totes go, this is about as perfect as it gets. My The Row N/S Park Tote review is this: 100/10, would recommend! This bag is made in Italy, and features a slouchy N/S tote silhouette crafted from grained leather with a flat top handle that easily slings over the shoulder. Not to mention its size, which can hold all your daily essentials and then some, including whatever you’re currently reading and your tablet or laptop! As far as best designer bags without logos go, this is the one.
Toteme: Hobo Bag

For a more structured tote bag that sits a bit higher and more into your armpit, the Toteme Tote is stunning. I own it in the white pebble-grained leather, and almost every time I wear it in public, someone stops me to comment on how stunning this bag is in person. This tote has a zip top just like the Goyard so you can feel secure about everything inside, and the interior itself is just spacious enough without being overwhelming.
Loewe: Flamenco Drawstring Clutch

This bag is everything. Besides the fact that you can wear it as a crossbody, shoulder, or clutch handbag. It's a minimalist luxury bag at its finest. There are a few Loewe Flamenco bag sizes to choose from like the large that comes with longer shoulder straps, a mini, and the medium which is what I own and think is the perfect everyday-handbag size. Note: I purchased the brown strap separately from Loewe, but has since sold out. Additional straps here.
Celine: Mini Belt Bag

My very first Celine bag and most used bag of all time! I bought it from the boutique in Dallas in 2016. It's the most versatile, subtle, classic handbag to date. The light taupe color makes it easy to go from day to night. While this is the largest size in the belt bag collection, you cannot fit a laptop in the Celine mini belt bag. The strap it comes with is only long enough to be worn on your shoulder, not crossbody. I have this one to wear the Celine mini belt bag crossbody. Truly my favorite bag ever. Shop pre-loved.
Bottega Venetta: Desiree Crossbody

In terms of a crossbody bag, I love the Bottega Veneta Desiree bag and price. Not only is the white so crisp, but the gorgeous gold hardware makes it sing. It’s a saddlebag-inspired Bottega Veneta crossbody bag, which makes it both sharp and casual at once so you can wear it with so many different looks. I also love that the white works both in the warm months and as a winter white! It's an ideal transitional bag.
Khaite: Medium Lotus Bag

The Khaite Lotus Bag in black suede is truly stunning in person. When I’m not using my taupe colored The Row Tote, it’s this tote for sure. The suede is surprisingly lightweight and creates a gorgeous silhouette for this bag. Khaite is made in Italy and really leans into the whole minimalist luxury bag movement with NO hardware whatsoever. It’s all about the fabric of the bag itself, without any distracting shiny buckles or plates. The size is also amazing and can hold everything you may need on a daily basis!
Celine: Large Romy Bag

My most recent Celine bag purchase has quickly become my favorite! It's so roomy, the grained leather is soft and buttery, and the shape is so great. I typically don't like hobo style bags, but this one just caught my eye and I immediately fell in love. Plus the color is stunning. I love that it goes back to all my favorite neutrals effortlessly. There is a smaller option, the Celine Medium Romy bag, but I loved the large for an everyday style. I purchased this one from the Celine boutique in Soho. Shop pre-loved.
Goyard: St. Louis GM Tote

I’ve had my Goyard for years now and, while it’s not exactly minimalist with its logo stamped all over the bag, it’s definitely timeless. I love how roomy it is especially for travel. I use this tote organizer to give the bag shape, keep it sturdy, and of course organize all my belongings! I've had the bag since 2017 and it has worn SO well. The canvas has relaxed, but in a good way. No cracking or holes anywhere! Shop pre-loved here!
