If you’re wondering if August was one day long or you’re crazy, I’ve got great news—you’re not crazy. August was legitimately one day long. I know personally I was on-the-go which made it fly by, and I really can’t believe September is practically here. Words can’t express how excited I am for fall, but before we get there, let’s recap the top sellers from August!
You guys clearly can’t wait for fall either because this coatigan from MANGO was the top seller in August! It almost always sells out year after year because it’s such a great piece for fall/winter. It’s also a bit heavier, which makes it ideal for cold temperatures. I already have the camel but will be ordering the taupe/medium brown shade this year! If you need outfit inspo, check out this blog post all about it.
It looks like my favorite bralette is y’all’s favorite bralette, too! These True Body Scoop Neck Bralettes from Nordstrom are all I wear anymore. They are insanely comfortable and look good under any top. They also come in a ton of fun colors if you want to mix it up. This buttery-soft bra is the kind you can wear all day and completely forget you have it on!
Gosh, I love these tailored, high waist shorts by A.L.C. They are super easy to dress up or down, and I will definitely be wearing them into the fall season with long sleeve tops, sweaters, and blazers. They are a great piece of clothing to have in your transitional arsenal! Here's how I styled them this summer.
Everyone needs a pair of perfect black jeans for fall and winter, and these are them. The AGOLDE 90’s Pinch Waist Jeans in Black Tea are the only black jeans I wear right now. They’re just… perfect! If you’re into high-rise, straight fit jeans, definitely grab these. True to size! You can find these in my denim guide.
I’ve sung this J.Crew coatigan's praises for a long time now. Where the MANGO coatigan is heavier and better for mid to late fall and winter, this one is more lightweight making it perfect for early fall days that are right ahead of us. I just got it in the pale pink hue and absolutely love traveling with it—it’s just enough layering for the airplane and not bulky.
This blazer by The Drop on Amazon has been a hit with you guys, and I know why! I love it so much, too and own it in the black and mint. Definitely size up if you want that oversized blazer fit. It’s such a fantastic staple for under $70!
Remember when all we were wearing were ripped jeans?! While they’re not completely out of the picture, I’ve definitely been more focused on adding great quality, non-ripped jeans to my closet and these ones are the best. They’re actually the exact same as the black denim jeans—AGOLDE’s 90’s Pinch Waist jeans! True to size and ones you will wear non-stop. These also make the list of my favorite jeans.
Just when I think I have all the white sneakers I could use, I fall in love with another pair. These New Balance 327 sneakers are so amazing. I seriously wear this style ALL the time and have in multiple colors! I found some in-stock, slightly backordered on J.Crew for shipment in October, but it’s 10000% worth it to preorder them now. They also sell out so fast! Trust me—you and your feet will be so happy you did.
I was so glad to see that you guys are buying up this Amazon Basics luggage! It is truly the best, especially the carry-on. It holds so much and has stayed in such amazing condition for as long as I’ve had it. I refuse to get any other carry-on at this point!
Check out this reel and this reel to see it in action!
My readers really leaned into comfort in August and were ordering up a storm of these Scuba High-Rise French Terry Joggers by lululemon, and I get it. They’re so wonderfully comfy and cozy and what I find myself reaching for the most at home. Absolutely treat yourself to a pair for fall and winter! These run a little small, so I size up!

I love the 100% cotton high waisted jeans too and I want a pair so bad but have tried Levi’s, Agolde, and Abercrombie and run into the same problem each time–tight crotch! I can’t deal, guess I’m just too dang practical! How do you live your life in these jeans and still be comfortable? I’m mystified. Please share your ways because I want a pair!
They definitely need to be broken in, but after one or two full day wears they are very comfortable! I actually prefer 100% cotton over jeans with stretch!
