Over the years I've invested in more and more designer accessories. I have found they just last so much longer and the designs carry over season after season. Since making a designer purchase is an investment, I like to wait and really see what I'm missing from my closet. When I'm styling an outfit or packing for a trip I always ask myself, "What do I wish I had to really pull this look together?" I'll remember that thought and see if its one I continue having, to ensure its and item I'll really wear and get good use out of. Once I've made up my mind on whatever that item is, I first look to Nordstrom. Nordstrom has such a great selection of designer shoes, bags, accessories, even clothing!
Since I'm a Nordstrom cardholder, I typically make these larger purchases using my Nordstrom card so I can get more points and accumulate Nordstrom notes (rewards credits). You can earn up to 3 points for every $1 spent depending on your status and the more points you have, the more Nordstrom notes you get. I like to save all my Nordstrom notes and use either during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, or to make a bigger purchase, like a designer item. Another perk of the Nordstrom card are the double and triple points days you can use throughout the year. Again, all great incentives to use when making a big purchase! You can read more about the Nordstrom card and its benefits here. Throughout the year as I acquire my points, I'm also boosting my Nordstrom status to gain access to shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale on the first day! If you dont know what the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is, read this post! Its going on right now, but ends August 6, 2023, so make sure to check it out and see what I bought here!

Benny Leather Belt
This is probably my most worn designer accessory right now (besides my sunglasses and Teen Jodie bag). I purchased this belt at the end of June and can’t stop wearing it. I never thought I would be interested in silver hardware again, but here we are. I’m just loving something new compared to the gold hardware I’ve been wearing for over a decade. This belt is AMAZING in quality with the soft leather and weight of the hardware. I’ve worn this belt the most with trouser pants and shorts. I normally wear a 25/26 in jeans and got the 85. I did need to add another hole to the belt. Just in case it’s sold out, this one is similar for under $100.
Teen Jodie
Perfection. This bag is true perfection. 99% of the time if you see me, you see me with this bag, the Bottega Veneta Teen Jodie. I originally wanted to get the small Jodie (larger size that fits on your shoulder). But something was holding me back. It wasn’t as comfortable on my shoulder, especially if I was going to be wearing a bulky coat. I paused and after a few months tried the Teen Jodie and it was immediate love. I should prob make a post dedicated to all the ways I’ve styled this bag because its truly one of my top 3 handbags. Might need to consider another color thats how much I use it. I carry it the most in the crook of my arm and its totally comfortable that way. Its also very spacious and I can fit my large wallet, sunglasses (with case), keys, phone, and misc. items. HIGHLY recommend this bag!
Sunglasses
The only sunglasses I wear. I originally bought these at the beginning of 2019 and have been wearing them ever since. Sure I’ll mix it up every now and then, but this pair from Celine will forever be my go-to. They are so comfortable, not heavy, and the oversized frame is so flattering. Online the lenses look green, but once wearing they definitely fade to a much darker almost black color like my images. I did buy another pair as back up just in case they ever get discontinued and I lose or damage a pair, that’s how much I love them!
Ginza Sandals
I got these sandals at the beginning of the season and honestly didn’t think I would wear them as much as I do. They have pretty much replaced the rest of my sandals and became my go-to. Truthfully, I didn’t think they were comfortable out of the box. Actually they hurt. But I was determined and it just took about 2 days of getting used to. Now, I wear them almost every day, and I’ve even traveled in them! I really do love these sandals and if you visit some of my recent looks in LTK you’ll definitely see them styled lots of ways! These fit TTS for me; I got my true designer size.
Logo Slim Belt
One of my most worn designer accessories is this YSL belt. Its skinny, minimal, classic, and really pulls any outfit together. It was first featured in the 2022 Summer Capsule and has been a staple in my wardrobe every since. There was a time when adding a belt didn’t seem necessary, but they are back and I’m loving incorporating them into my looks. I normally wear a 25/26 in jeans and got the 85. I did need to add another hole to the belt.
Lotus Suede Tote
Another handbag I couldn’t stop wearing during the fall/winter season was this black suede hobo handbag by Khaite (pronounced KATE). This brand is recently gaining popularity due to the quiet luxury approach of reimagined classics. The bag is surprisingly lightweight and is the modern-day Mary Poppins bag; it really holds everything. The rounded base gives stability when carrying and/or setting on a flat surface. I loved this bag so much I bought the raffia version for summer!
Original GG Slingbacks
Last fall I purchased these slingbacks and fell in love them! I’ve actually missed wearing them during the summer months. I’m not normally one who likes a lot of logos, but this felt classic to me. I’ve paired them with jeans and sweaters, skirts, and dresses. I also think the heel height is perfect, especially for an office setting. These fit TTS for me; I got my true designer size.
Desiree Leather Crossbody
If you know me, you know I’m a sucker for handbags, especially “quiet luxury” handbags. This white Bottega Veneta crossbody is such a great staple I’ll have for years to come. I know white might not seem practical, but I just loved how clean and fresh it looks! The bag itself is quite roomy; I can fit a large wallet, keys, sunglasses, phone, and a few misc. items. I’ll definitely be wearing this into the fall season; I think there are plenty of chic ways to style a white bag for fall.
Square Toe Sandals
Simple and elegant. These sandals are a great staple to have not only for special occasions, but also just pairing back to jeans and a cute top, especially for summer. They are a little bit of a higher heel height, so just take that into consideration. I really do love these heeled sandals. These fit TTS for me; I got my true designer size.
