A suede moto jacket and jeans this time of year? Probably not the outfit you thought you would see 2 days before summer. However, this is my new reality, and I love it. Living in Texas the majority of my life, I rarely got to enjoy the seasons. It was either hot or cold, but not much of anything in between except a few days here and there. While I tend to love summer weather the most, maybe because it always reminded me of tropical vacations, dressing for cooler temps is definitely my preference. Now that I'm living in San Diego, I'm able to wear layers, summer sweaters, and jeans more often than before. So today I'm sharing some of my favorite summer styles perfect for layering this season, because not every state is as hot as Texas.

Love this look! I grew up in Texas, but now that I live in Amsterdam summer is so much chillier! Layering is so foreign to me!
